Festival of public health UK, Manchester, 2 July 2012

The University of Manchester is hosting a Festival of Public Health UK on Monday 2 July 2012.

It is the first of its kind and will be celebrating public health work from across the UK. They are hoping to bring together students, researchers and workers from within the field to display their work, as well as providing the opportunity to network with like-minded people.

The festival will be opened by Professor Lindsey Davies, President of the Faculty of Public Health, with the main theme being “Prevention and Screening”. However, abstract submission is not limited to this topic and there will be no weighting applied to the topic when abstracts are chosen. Topics for submission may focus on anything related to public health.

This event is free of charge and refreshments will be provided.

Abstract submission details can be found online here. (Due: Friday 8 June 2012)
